Over the course of three decades, CSM Production’s passion for motorsport is apparent. So, when the opportunity to help introduce the new Forza Motorsport 7 game came up, we were all in.
The goal of the relationship was to promote the game on a four-city tour. Makers of the Forza Motorsport 7 Ultimate Edition wanted to drive pre-orders as well as build a buzz around its launch. Forza Motorsport 7 immerses players in the exhilarating thrill of competitive racing from mastering the new motorsport-inspired campaign to collecting a wide range of cars to experiencing the excitement of driving at the limit.
The logistics team took the lead on refurbishing a 24 by 8-foot trailer that would serve as home base at events nationwide. With support from Production’s fabrication and creative department, a 3 by 24-foot roof-top sign was designed and installed to feature Forza Motorsport 7 content.
To allow consumers the opportunity to play this exciting new game, a 65-inch HD 4k TV was installed along with a customized audio system for the gaming stations. CSM Production also managed the decal install and procured a touchscreen scoreboard to update guests on fastest times during each event day.
The tour began Sept. 15-17 at the IndyCar race in Sonoma, made a visit to the IMSA Petit LeMans at Road Atlanta Oct. 5-7, Formula Drift’s Title Battle at Irwindale Speedway Oct. 13-14 and is working on additional opportunities for the remainder of 2017.
With a desire to reach a variety of race fans, the experience traveled to three unique venues to reach three diverse audiences. The various fan groups have fully engaged with Forza 7, driving home the messaging of the new game.
